Celebs, Dresses, Fashion, Shoes

on a roll, again.

October 2, 2011

leighton meester is known for her now iconic role as blair waldorf on gossip girl, and it’s immensely refreshing to that she is just as stylish off the screen as she is on it.

she’s given us some spectacular looks before and she keeps on churning them out. in the past few days, leighton has rolled out 4 stellar looks.
1. at the dior fashion show in paris leighton wore a very feminine white dress with ruffles and a tiered skirt. love that she stuck to the black and white combination- so parisian.  the whole look is very very girly, with black louis vuitton mary janes with bow straps upping the sweetness factor.  a black dior bag completes the look. leighton’s hair looks phenomenal here, it has not looked half this good in gossip girl lately.

2. at the toronto film festival, leighton showed up in a navy and turquoise pleated resort 2012 louis vuitton dress paired with a black blazer. an unexpected pop of color comes from her bright pink pierre hardy wedges.  the dress and shoes are so fun together, it is such a perfect youthful look. the blazer adds an element on sophistication which is fitting for the event. perfect hair and make-up completes the look. i am really loving the bangs on her.

3. at the premiere for her film the oranges at the toronto film festival, leighton wears an alexandar mcqueen dress from the resort 2012 collection. this has got to be my favorite look out of the bunch, but i guess that’s kinda obvious because there’s some animal print involved. the white eyelet dress has a really interesting silhouette with layered tiered skirts. the longer skirt ends right at the calf, which is a really difficult length to work with, but leighton pulls it off.  a wide brown belt gives her already bangin body more shape. gorgeous mcqueen heels complete the look. i’m so glad she chose those shoes, they are giving the entire thing so much personality. and her hair! it is divine.

4. at an htc launch event in nyc leighton opted for a 2012 marios schwab ensemble.  this look is really casual and laid back, comprising of a plain, black, long-sleeved top and an aquatic print skirt. but those shoes just  take this look to a whole other level.

i have been lusting after these burberry heels ever since i laid eyes on them whilst dissecting the spring 2012 collection. these tribal inspired heels are to die for and the perfect choice for this dress.

which look is your fave?
