i mean…some people just do not look bad, do they?
kerry washington once again proves her red carpet prowess by choosing looks which are gorgeous and flattering.
at the susan g. komen benefit in washington d.c. kerry wears a salmon pink fall 2011 marc jacobs dress. the dress has a black floral print, black shoulder straps and a peplum. i think this color compliments kerry’s skintone perfectly. the dress itself is very ladylike and proper, black accessories keep the look subtle. soft shiny curls and matte makeup finish off this look. i wish she had opted for a glossier or darker lipshade, this one is too pale.
girrrrrl. now THIS is what i’m talkin about.
kerry killed it at the keep a child alive ball in nyc in this super amazing donna karan from the resort 2012 collection. this is absolutely stunning. this is exactly the kind of dress i love – lots of drama, lots of volume, lots of insanity. the white tulle dress has a layered, asymmetrical skirt with white stripes. this has got to be one of the most fabulous dresses i have ever seen anyone wear. i kid you not i would walk around in this dress if i could afford it. kerry pairs the statement making dress with nude accessories. and strangely enough, her nude louboutin pumps seem to match her lipstick – wrong choice again. but i really can’t fault anything here.
