bollywood actress (is she an actress? i do think i’m mistaken) sophie chaudhry is one of those actresses who has an interesting sense of style – it’s sometimes risque, sometimes awful and sometimes absolutely stellar.
at her two most recent appearances, sophie caught my eye with two very different yet very chic outfits. take a look.

at the araaish shopping event in mumbai sophie looked fabulous and on-trend wearing bright colored denims. she made a wise choice by keeping the rest of her outfit neutral, it really helps the color of her indigo denims pop. but just because the rest of her pieces are neutral does not mean that they are boring. i am absolutely obsessing over her white jersey and lace elie tahari top, it brings a nice touch of femininity to the outfit. a beige tod’s bag and matching peeptoes finish off this look.
subtle makeup, simple hair and jewelry complete this casual, but not too casual look. love.

at sanjay dutt’s mata ki chowki celebrations, sophie completely turned the tables around and went ethnic on us. i think she looks gorgeous here, and i really don’t think there she is gorgeous at all. the red anarkali has gold embroidery on the bodice and hem with orange and hot pink accents. anyone who knows me knows that i am not a huge fan of red, or just the fact that red looks horrid on me, but i am loving this entire look.
she completes the outfit with perfect accessories. a shiny gold hard-cased clutch, gorgeous strappy gold heels and those jhumkas! i really am dying over those. the make-up is perfect, not too harsh and she seems to be glowing.
which look works for you?
