that my friends, was a fine example of alliteration. now on to more important things.
green was the predominant trend on the red carpet at the golden globes and man oh man am i loving it. what a rich, vibrant shade of green. and three of the most beautiful women at the event donned this beautiful hue.
:: mila ::
the stunning mila kunis wears an emerald green pleated vera wang gown. she looks faaaabulous. i have a total girl crush on mila and i think this color is perfect for her. she sticks to the undying asymmetrical trend and compliments if perfectly with her slightly messy updo. i love.
:: catherine zeta-jones ::
i have always loved catherine zeta-jones on the red carpet. she always brings beauty, glamor and drama to any event. and this time is no different. at first glance i thought this was an lv, looks quite familiar to the one mila j. wore to cannes – they have a similar texture and structured skirt, but she is actually wearing a textured forest green monique lhuiller pre-fall 2011 gown. this dress might give rise to mixed feelings but i am loving the drama of it. she looks like a new-age southern belle. half-tied hair and van cleef & arpels chandelier earrings complete her look.
:: angelina jolie ::
angie brought back the power shoulders with this glittery atelier versace dress. what a perfect shade of emerald for her. i am so happy to see her in any thing other than black and white. i almost cried tears of joy. simple hair, simple make-up. she looks dreamy – the long sleeved dress has accentuated shoulders, is cinched at the waist and has a dramatic low back. there is nothing i love more than bling and this dress brings it. it is completely covered with swarovski crystals. like zeta’s dress, this one is iffy. it either looks like an 80’s disco dress or extremely chic.
