aishwarya rai stuck to her roots at the bulgari hotel launch in london earlier this week.
aishwarya wears a black and white, floor-length sabyasachi anarkarli which is covered with embroidery. that anarkali is really nothing to write home about, which is a shame because i usually go all ga-ga over anything and everything sabyasachi. the embroidery on the white net is absolutely stunning, but i hate the extra flare at the hem – it is throwing the whole thing off. i am, however, head over heels in love with the dupatta. this is one of the rare times when a dupatta is more beautiful than the actual kameez – it is just so heavenly.
i do wish she had chosen to wear this instead of that abu-sandeep travesty at the cannes amfar gala – this is so much more flattering than whatever the hell that was. glad to see her makeup looking normal too.
